Trinket Boxes

They have been around for Centuries, like all the way back to old Egypt! Some hinged, some with a separate lid, and they where used to store jewelry, perfume, creams or small items. Some of the small hinged ones would have been pill boxes.

They were seen a lot on vanities to store hairpins and bands, and fine necklaces and bracelets were stored separately, to prevent them from tangling.

Trinket Boxes come in different sizes and all sorts of materials, wood, glass, porcelain, metals, enameled.

At the moment that I write this (july 2025) we have 12 Trinket Boxes in 6 different materials and from at least 5 different Countries in Stock! We found them in Italy, Spain and Switserland.
